Sugar Bear Sleep Vitamins

Wow is it just me or is it harder to sleep during the summer months? I'm a registered nurse, I work the dayshift from 7am to 730pm and I live right next to a train. Sleep is so hard! The train is loud, it blares its horn at around 1 and 4 am and after I long stressful shift at work I really need my sleep.


In May I started using Sugarbear Sleep Vitamins and saw a huge change in my quality of sleep for the better. I've been using taking them as directed, at night, right before I start my bedtime routine and have noticed that I sleep deeper, get more REM sleep (according to my FITBIT) and I wake up more rested.


I've tried a lot of different sleep products in the past. The difference I've noticed between the others and Sugarbear Sleep Vitamins is the ingredients. Whereas, past products I tried were all melatonin heavy with little to no other sleep aides added in. Sound familiar? I tried different gummies, with varying levels of melatonin, and while they helped me fall asleep faster, I didn't feel like I got FULLER or more sound, deep sleep. Sugarbear Sleep Vita mins are different because they contain a powerhouse of sleep aides in addition to melatonin. I think this combination is the sweet spot for me and has led to a dramatic improvement in the quality of sleep I'm getting. Lets look at whats in them and do some research on how they help us sleep.



Melatonin

This is a natural hormone our body produces to regulate our sleep cycle. This is what tells our body it's time for bed.


Vitamin B6

This vitamin has a helping hand in regulating the amino acid called tryptophan (lots of this is in thanksgiving turkey! ha!). We need tryptophan to make melatonin.


Magnesium

This mineral has been shown to have a natural relaxing effect on our bodies and it is also need to produce melatonin.


L-theanine

This is found in a lot of teas and it provides a calm, relaxing mood.


Valerian Root

This contains antioxidants that promote sleep and a calm mood.


5-HTP

This helps to support a positive mood and state of relaxation.


Passion Flower

This is also common in teas because it promotes a calm, relaxed mood.


Lemon Balm Leaf

This is packed with antioxidants that promote sleep and a calm relaxed mood.


Notice a trend? A lot of these ingredients are all about setting up the MOOD for bedtime. This makes a lot of sense, as a lot of sleep experts recommend relaxing activities such as meditation, deep breathing or reading, before bed to help you fall asleep faster. Your mood is everything! If you're amped up, or emotional, its harder to fall asleep. These ingredients have helped me to balance out my mood and making it easier to sleep into and stay asleep.

Before using these gummies I was getting 5-6 hours of sleep each night and now I average 7 hours, with less time awake in the middle of the. One hour has made a huge difference in the way I feel when I wake up.


Sugarbear Sleep Vitamins taste GREAT! This was important to me because, in the past, it was difficult to remember to take gummy vitamins that didn't taste good. They are completely vegan, made with vegan pectin instead of gelatin and the consistency is incredible. Not too chewy, not mushy at all and they taste almost like candy. The ingredients are organically sourced and easy for digest, they never make me nauseas or upset my stomach.
