Q: I just started using Monat, why did my color fade a little? A: A lot of us have buildup on our hair that we aren't aware of. Buildup blocks hair color from sticking to your hair. It literally gets in the way, so that when you go to get your hair colored, buildup is colored first AND THEN your hair underneath. Monat products get rid of your buildup. You might initially lose some of your hair color. Don't worry, our products keep your hair buildup free so NOW you'll get the most bang for your buck when you get your hair colored! 🙌🏽 Q: How often should I use the Color Locking + Protective Spray? A: For the best results apply it as your first product after washing your hair. If you use rejuvabeads then apply it AFTER you let rejuvabeads sit for 30 seconds. Reapply it anytime you will be in the sun for a prolonged time. For example, before you go for a run, hit the beach or pool.
